Resources

This API is build upon Gorila’s platform and carries all the same well established concepts and terms.

Before going further into the documentation it is important to clarify our definition of resources and their relationships:

User: Owner of a set of accounts and the client of this API.

Account: Entity used to identify a specific portfolio.

Portfolio: The aggregation of all positions owned by someone at their portfolio.

Security: A fungible and negotiable financial instrument that holds a monetary value. It will be uniquely identified by its market symbol using the securityName property

Position: Once a security is owned it establishes a position which is the amount owned of a security at a given custodian (broker).
